Mumtaz Earrings
This design draws inspiration from the legendary Mumtaz Mahal, beloved wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. Devastated by her passing, he commissioned the Taj Mahal as an eternal tribute to their love and as her final resting place.
Her name translates as 'chosen one of the palace' and she was known for her grace and beauty.
These hoop earrings are delicately hand crocheted & stitched in fine plated copper wires, encrusted along the lower edge with luxury crystals.
The models are wearing the Scarlet and Kohl colourways.
Materials: Sterling silver, gold-filled or black hypoallergenic anodised niobium earring hooks depending on the colourway.
Niobium is a naturally inert metal that is non-reactive with the human body, and usually safer for metal allergy sufferers.
Anti-tarnish silver plated, gold-gilt plated or enamelled copper jewellery wire, Austrian crystal, gold, silver-plated or oxidised black brass components.
Earring size: 5cm across its widest part, and 5.5cm from the top of hook to bottom of hoop.
