Window Cuff Knitting Kit
A mixed-media cuff bracelet that combines luxury hand dyed yarn with shimmering crystal beads and knitted wire.
This is a lovely introductory project to learn how to knit with wire and to incorporate beads, with the added familiarity of knitting with yarn.
You will be knitting a wire 'window', and then adding yarn to form the band that goes around the wrist. This kit allows you to totally customise to your wrist size.
The wire section is small enough for you to get a feel for working with wire.
The yarn included in the kit has been hand dyed by 'Inspiring Yarns', a small business based in Northern Ireland. They are a social enterprise organisation where 100% of their profits go towards their stated social purpose, which is to improve mental health and well-being, reduce social isolation, promote and maintain heritage yarn and textile-based skills and develop and support training and employment opportunities in yarn and textile disciplines.
