Evergreen/ Gold-filled hooks
An evergreen circular window of cascading crocheted crystal tendrils, dancing and shimmering in the gentle forest wind.
The outer edge is crocheted in luxury yarn, hand dyed by indie-dyer Uschitita, who is based in the Netherlands. The pure merino wool is aptly named 'Backwood' and encompasses shades of forest green, pale green, gold, burgundy and amethyst, reminiscent of colours you encounter on a woodland walk.
The tendrils in the centre are crocheted with black and green entwined enamelled copper, embellished with matching crystals in burgundy, olive and pale amethyst. They are finished with gold filled (gold over sterling silver) ear hooks.
The earrings measure 5cm across and 6cm from top of hook to bottom of earring.
How the yarn colours fall within the piece may vary depending on which part of the yarn I start crocheting with, but any variation will be very slight.
I will always try to mirror the earrings so that the colours are as symmetrical and balanced as possible. The crystal colours will be as seen.
These pieces are made with specialist hand-dyed yarn and so this item will be limited.
They are a made-to-order item, so please allow at least 2 weeks for delivery for UK & Europe, and 5 weeks for USA & Worldwide. We will try our best to send in time for Christmas, although delays in the postal system will be out of our control.
