This shawl pin features a circle of delicate hand crocheted stitches in fuchsia & black enamelled copper, edged with slate-grey glass beads and colourful luxury yarn.
The pin resembles a peacock fan of crocheted yarn, wire & beads.
The hand dyed luxury yarn on the outer edges is by Uschitita, based in the Netherlands and encompasses smoky shades of black, grey, orange and pink.
The pin element can be worn on it's own with a shawl, but also doubles as a decorative hair piece.
The disc measures 6.5cm in diameter, and the pin is 11cm long and 4cm wide.
How the yarn colours fall within the piece may vary depending on which part of the yarn I start crocheting with, but any variation will be very slight.
